Invitations to attend a workshop about “Citizen/Online Journalism” were sent via emails after which 15 got accepted from different Arab countries such as Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, KSA. David Ibrahim and I are going to use these new techniques: fast, interactive, merged, multimedia that we learned through reporting, shooting, and editing for our news org, in order to tell you how we spent these 5 days of training at AUB.
Through photo editing (resizing the photos taken by digital cameras), voice recording (from cell phones or digital voice recorder), video editing (on movie maker or adobe premiere) we will show you how we learned to create our own blogs, carry our bookmarks and others with us wherever we may go, make the news come to us by RSS, and lots of digi-news online tools to improve our online journalism. Through many sessions, different topics as well as techniques were presented to us by our trainers which we will try to resume in a few minutes report demonstrating: new tools for online journalism, trainees getting to learn, trainers getting to teach, team spirit throughout the workshop, coffee breaks, lunch breaks, AC on and off fights….
We’ll be Twitt Twitting you during the “making of” our report which we will present Friday afternoon not only for members of the workshop, therefore you can all check it on lebanonews.wordpress.com and carolsabty.wordpress.com so you can follow up with us and give us your feedbacks, suggestions, support….

it’s our 1st day at the workshop titled ” citizen journalism”at aub for 5days from 9am to 3pm,we are arab journalists from different arab countries such as Iraq,Lebanon,KSA,….
